Halloween Weekend

Our weekends seem to be jam packed lately, and I am loving it!  Friday night, we enjoyed a dinner out with just the 3 of us at a new restaurant in town, Coyote Blues.  I had eaten there once but Don had not so we decided to try it out.  It was delicious!  After dinner, I needed a few things from the store so we headed to Wal-Mart.  Why can't I ever get out of there (or Target for that matter) without spending a fortune?  Anyway, we did our shopping and headed home to put Lil Bit to bed.  Don headed out to TCA to watch their game and scout out a few players.  After I got Ellie down, I got busy in the kitchen!  For some reason, I was in the mood to make a few Halloween goodies for us to enjoy over the weekend.  I made sweet apple spread, witches fingers (cheese straws) and spider cupcakes.

We also had a roast in the crock-pot all day Saturday to enjoy after Don's game.  If anyone wants the recipes, I will be glad to share!!  They are all easy and yummy:)

Anyway, enough about food.  Saturday, we did a little tailgating since it was LU's homecoming.  We looked like the paparazzi with the cameras everywhere!  Who could resist with cute babies all over the place?  I think I got some really good pictures...because  I FINALLY got a new camera!  I am in LOVE!  I've had it for a week and taken 600 pictures already.  I can't stop myself!  I am still clueless as to how to use it but i'm thinking some photography classes are in my future:)

Here are our little cuties at the tailgate party.

Ellie with the "PITT CREW" or Daddy's O-Line!
I wish I had zoomed in more.  See, still learning!

Saturday night we ate at home and passed out candy.  We had quite a few trick or treaters but still bought WAY too much candy.  I told Don to take it to work and get it out of my sight!  After that, we headed out to Leigh and Cole's to hang out for a bit.  We had lots of fun but left early to get Ellie in bed.  She'd had a big day!

Sunday was church and Don headed off to work. I kept saying, ONE MORE SUNDAY!!!!  He is just as ready for those all day Sundays to be over as I am.  He loves his job but those long hours are starting to catch up to him.  That afternoon, Ellie and I headed to Greenfield for a weenie roast, bonfire and hayride party!  All of her little cousins and were there and we managed to get some more great pictures.  It was so much fun!

Knox and Ellie driving the Barbie Jeep.  I LOVE this picture:)

This little girl loved that Jeep.  Santa may just have to bring one next year!

We had lots of fun and made some great memories.  Now it's back to the daily grind!
