A Victorious Weekend

We had a fantastic weekend!  Not because we really did that much, but it was just one for the books for many reasons:)

Friday night, Don's team played their Homecoming game and they WON!  It was such a fun and exciting game.  There were plenty of times I felt like I would either pass out or throw up from the stress and excitement, but we left with a BIG W!!  DeDe and Peeps and BB and Eric came and were a huge help at the game.  I got to watch the entire game with no interruptions.  Thank you for all of your help!

Before the game, Ellie had to have a little craft time with DeDe.  This girl is all about crafting these days.

Such an exciting WIN!  We needed it!

Saturday was a pretty lazy day.  We all napped, and it was wonderful.  I can't remember the last time I took a long afternoon nap!

Sunday, Ellie looked so sweet I just had to snap a quick picture.

After lunch, she had to change to this lovely outfit.  Much different from the church clothes!

Here's to another great week.  We are excited it's finally Fall!

What's your favorite color?

Ellie is obsessed cheerleaders.  She loves watching their every move and cheering along.  She really shocked us the other night when she started chanting a cheer out of the blue.  I had to share this video!

Speaking of orange, black and white...I finally took my big camera to Don's football game.  I wanted to share a few pictures we took this past Friday night.

Happy Monday!

Picture Time

Just a few more pictures of our sassy girl!

Uncle Matt came to visit and hunt with Don.  It was such a treat having him here!  Come back soon!!!

I mean, I really don't know what to say anymore... This girl is a MESS!

Another Friday night ball game.  She is becoming such a good little football fan!

The weather has been SO nice lately.  We've been spending many afternoons at the park!

Knox came to play Saturday afternoon!  These two always play so well together.  Knox loved riding Ellie's pink four wheeler.  If he got stuck, he'd yell "Ellie, come rescue me!"  Ellie would run over and push him out. It was too cute.  We also picked up sticks and hit the t-ball!  Come back anytime, Knox!

Big Girl Room

Since the move, Ellie's sleeping has been less than stellar (to say the least).  It had come to the point that  around 11 o'clock every night (way too late for a 2 year old) we would all hop in bed together and go to sleep as a family.  Needless to say, we had to nip that little routine in the bud as soon as we could:)

So, we started sleep training all over again like we had a newborn.  There were some rough nights, but I think Ellie finally understands that we mean business and that her pretty new room is a FUN place to be!

When we moved, we converted her bed into a toddler bed.  This had its ups and downs.  Some nights were great, most were not so great.  So, we finally decided to bite the bullet and make the transition to a full size bed.  I have been gathering things as I go and have happened upon some great deals along the way.  I LOVE the way her little room turned out!  I decided to stick with her original pink and green color scheme so we could still use her rug, curtains and accessories from her original nursery.

When I found this paisley quilt and shams at TJ Maxx, I jumped on it!  It matches her crib bedding almost exactly!

DeDe found this cute little bird lamp at Home Goods.  The night stand was my grandmothers. The picture frame was a baby gift and so was her super cute growth chart.  So glad we can still use all of this stuff!

We moved her dresser to the opposite wall.  It fit perfectly!

The first thing this little monkey wanted to do was JUMP on her new bed.  Oh my!

But we finally got her settled down and tucked in tight.

She had a fantastic night!  It took a while to get her settled down, but that is nothing new.  I think this is going to be the beginning of some great sleep in our house!

Just because I have been asked a lot on Twitter/Instagram, here is the break down of where everything is from:
Quilt/Shams: TJ Maxx
