We hopped on the Elf on the Shelf bandwagon this year and it has already created lots of holiday fun and excitement in our house. We decided to name our Elf "Ginger", short for Gingerbread. Ellie is completely obsessed! Now, I realize the original story says the Elf cannot be touched or he will lose his magic, but there is NO WAY that would fly with Ellie. We are bending the rules a tad this year but when she gets older we will definitely play along!
We introduced Ellie to Ginger on Tuesday, but today starts the real fun! This morning when Ellie woke up, Ginger was hanging out in her stocking with cereal in his hands. He and Ellie enjoyed their Cheerios together!
Christmas through a child's eyes is just so much fun. I will try to highlight Ginger's antics as often as I can!
I so want to do this. Even if it's for Fred. Ha!
