We had our second attempt at Wild Smiles with Ellie yesterday. Yes, she has been before. Let's just say it didn't go so well the first time and never made the blog because I had no chance to attempt a picture. She was NOT a fan! I was worried how she would react but never expected her to be so terrified. The crazy thing is that Wild Smiles is SO wonderful. They are extremely kid friendly, fun and everyone there is so incredibly nice. They gushed over Ellie and talked to sweetly to her and made her feel so at ease this time around.
All I have to say is what a difference 6 months can make! I really talked it up big to her this time and may have even offered a little surprise bribe if all went well. I am SO proud of her! She really put on a brave face and was such a big girl. She answered questions, talked to the hygienist and smiled and nodded throughout the entire cleaning. Last time they couldn't even attempt to BRUSH her teeth with a toothbursh much less use any of the tools. She got a wonderful report! They said her teeth were beautiful and that she had plenty of space for permanent teeth. We are doing a great job brushing and will be back again in six months!
Just another experience in the books for us and another reminder at how big she really is!
